Welcome to Connect4Christ ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Connect4Christ website, mobile application, and associated services (collectively, the "Platform"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Platform. By accessing or using any part of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, registering for events, submitting content, or otherwise interacting with the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including but not limited to event organizers, attendees, and administrative users.

2. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must be at least 13 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind the organization to these Terms.

3. Account Registration and Responsibilities

You may be required to register an account to access certain features of the Platform. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide true, accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Maintain and promptly update your information.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential.
  • Accept full responsibility for all activities under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or engage in prohibited activities.

4. Use of the Platform

You agree to use the Platform in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations. You may not:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful, misleading, or harmful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform.
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform.
  • Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this provision.

5. Event Creation and Participation

Event organizers are solely responsible for the content, planning, and execution of events listed on the Platform. By creating an event, you agree to:

  • Ensure that your event complies with all local laws and venue requirements.
  • Accurately represent the nature, date, location, and other details of your event.
  • Respond promptly to attendee inquiries and issues.

Attendees are responsible for confirming the details of the events they choose to attend. Connect4Christ is not liable for any issues arising from event logistics, cancellations, or misrepresentations by organizers.

6. Payments and Refunds

If you use the Platform to purchase event tickets or services:

  • All payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).
  • Connect4Christ may collect a service fee from each transaction.
  • Organizers set their own refund policies. You should review an event's refund terms before purchasing a ticket.
  • If an event is canceled, the organizer is responsible for initiating any refunds. Connect4Christ is not responsible for refund fulfillment.
  • Organizers using Connect4Christ to sell tickets are responsible for collecting and remitting any taxes associated with their events.

7. Organization Applications

Organizations may apply to be listed as event creators. Approval is subject to review and may be revoked if we find that an organization violates our policies or misuses the Platform.

8. Content Ownership and Licensing

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Platform, including event listings, text, and images. However, by submitting content, you grant Connect4Christ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purposes of operating and promoting the Platform.

You are solely responsible for the legality and appropriateness of your content. You may not submit content that:

  • Is obscene, defamatory, or otherwise offensive.
  • Infringes on intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Promotes hate speech, violence, or illegal activity.

We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.

9. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Connect4Christ, including the logo, design, software, and platform features, is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

10. Communication and Notifications

By creating an account, you consent to receive emails, text messages, or other communications related to your use of the Platform. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time, though we may still send you important administrative messages.

11. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. We implement reasonable security measures to protect user data, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violation of these Terms or for any reason we deem appropriate. You may terminate your account by contacting us at support@connect4christ.com.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Connect4Christ and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Connect4Christ, its affiliates, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

16. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Platform with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Essex County, New Jersey.
